Helen Seale currently holds the position of the Clinical Consultant Physiotherapist for the Heart Lung Program at the Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. Her role encompasses heart and lung transplant, advanced heart failure including mechanical circulatory support, and pulmonary vascular disease.
Clinically Helen has an interest in transplantation, pulmonary vascular disease, pulmonary rehabilitation, and interstitial lung disease and is currently involved in multi-disciplinary clinical trials in pulmonary arterial hypertension and exercise and balloon angioplasty for chronic thrombolic pulmonary disease using exercise cardiac magnetic imaging. She also owns a private practice treating musculo-skeletal injuries in particular spinal pain. Helen’s musculo-skeletal skills also translate into her role in the clinical management of her cardiorespiratory patients.
