Cylie Williams is an Associate Professor in the School of Primary and Allied Health Care at Monash University, Senior Researcher at Peninsula Health, and Credentialled Paediatric Podiatrist by the Australian Podiatry Association. Her research students are physiotherapists, podiatrists and doctors. Cylie has over 100 peer reviewed publications and received research funding from the National Health and Medical Research Council, Medical Research Future Fund and the Victorian Department of Health. She is also an associate editor at the Journal of Foot and Ankle Research, and a visiting fellow at the Centre for Biomechanics and Rehabilitations Technologies, Staffordshire University, UK.
Cylie has worked in the Victorian public health system for over 20 years with children with complex gait, foot and ankle conditions. She is passionate about multidisciplinary, goal driven care. Cylie has a particular interest in developmental disorders and their impact on gait, participation and her research spans sensory processing, neuroscience and impairment relating to foot disorders.
